Jose Calaycay: I'm not in Florida. In most states now, you need a 4 year degree to get a teacher or lead teacher position in a high quality program. But there are probably 2 ways you could find out for sure. One: google "child care regulations florida" and you will be able to find the child care regs for your state. If the regulations permit it, you will probably be able to find a position in child care. I bet they do permit it. And two: google "preschool your city florida" to find a list of preschool programs in your area. Then call some of them and ask what position your credential qualifies you for. You may be able to get at least an assistant teacher position so you can gain experience while you go to college for your degree. I wish you the best of luck in your search! I hope you enjoy working in this field as much as I do!...Show more
