Susan Rambo: The #1 issue with car batteries is dirty connection at the battery terminals. They are made of lead and oxidized lead is a dull grey. Clean lead is very shiny. Oxidized lead does not conduct electricity...If battery contacts are clean and battery is charged and car does not start, then it can be either the battery or the starter or the starter solenoid...
