Cyndy Grimes: Does your car sit un-naturally low to the ground at the back? Jack it up, and lift the wheel.. if you can, then your shock absorbers have worn, hence when weight is applied to one side (turning) the spring will have no limit to how fast it can compress and return to original state.Check also: the anti roll link bars, not exactly hot on BMW's but their usually short little bars with no physical purpose, a ball joint each end :). not expensive at all.If you've lowered your suspension, then do the same check to make sure. Check to make sure the springs are not loose and that you can not push the shock absorbers under your own force.Don't listen to the first person to comment, Ball joints (which are at the front, related solely to steering) are about £5 GBP and no harder to replace then a bolt.If your shock absorbers have gone, or one has, i highly recommend you replace both brand new, as uneven shock absorbers will fail your MOT. Shock absorbers aren't particu! larly pricey, but if you can't fit them yourself, a professional will want alot. :(I hope i have helped you solve your problem. :)...Show more
